No idea. One year it was so far out that I was able to walk out about 100mts on the lake floor .. it was pretty cool, but hasn't happened since - that was back in 2017. There is a huge rock table that is also exsposed when the tide recedes so low. I spent a year walking on the beach each day. It changes every single day!

The first time they said it was low tide and we walked down at an angle and walked a good bit out into the river and it was still shallow
The second visit you could not walk down
the water was right there
you could jump in and swim if you wanted to
That was amazing to know that the last time I was there we had walked so far out

Vornado space heaters. They don't get hot,and the heating element doesn't even glow red. Multiple settings...

Years ago behind the pine trees I made a lean-to out of split rail fencing and covered it with some heavy duty plastic.

Come fall, I rake all the leaves under the lean- to, to keep them dry for bedding and insulation on the coop floor.

So far... I haven't had any surprise residents move in.

We had a pop up camper that stayed at a campground on the beach

Wow! The gulf coast beaches are gorgeous. They are on my list to visit.

I've been to Birmingham and the Tallageda National Forest. Loved it there. I met very nice people everywhere I went in Alabama.
