31F with forecast of up to 6" of snow. Still need to remove my front bucket, off the tractor, then install my snowblower.

We had 25f this am! Still only 27f @ 10:03 with the high only predicted to be 31f and more snow! 4 inches fell overnight.

When going to Cedar Point, My son and I would hit the Blue Streak first. Of course they would tell us to use the seatbelt. Nahh. We would take them off, and ride "no handed.

Well... I lost my "Lady girl" this morning. She had been trying to fight off an infection for the last couple of weeks. My heart is broken.

I first saw her in the local TSC 8 years ago, and knew what she was.

Somebody must have hatched her and taken her to the store. I knew exactly what she was. Black Australorp.

She was the matriarch of the coop, and the "alpha" hen. She didn't put up with anything, and kept everyone in line.She will be sorely missed.

Honestly I could do without it too! What I don`t like is morning temps sometime next week in the low teens makes me a bit concerned about our birds!

She died in my arms this morning.
