6 ish PM. I came up for air. Coop is finally fully insulated. 68 degrees in the coop. That's at waist height (feet are still cold).

I got more cardboard than I need. A buddy of mine works at a machine shop. His employer was happy to see and hear that I needed cardboard. (they have a hard time of getting rid of it)

I now have more cardboard than I need, and the boys and girls are happy to be warm.

It's near 60 degrees in the coop.

Eh, it's a work problem. Seems to have been just the hose though, since I tried to go out later and the sprinkler was running. Nearly walked right into it.

According to my weather app on my phone it's 44 f outside so not much to do but decorate the house for Christmas.

This is usually around the time, in my neck of the woods, when I prepare for hibernation from the scorching heat of Hades! I live for October's end, and temps dipping under 85.

Extremes of temperature anywhere are a challenge. I sure hope your weather is cooler for you now, and not too cool though!

-6C (21F), it’s been a relatively mild day with a few flurries and peaks of sun. Big temp drop tonight with a forecast low of -17C and (what a shocker) special weather statement for more evil white stuff.

Did I mention I hate snow and cold?
