You need a naked neck with 2 genes for the trait. You can usually tell because those birds have totally naked necks with no bowties.Where's the picture? I'm curious because I would really like a cross between my naked neck rooster and my Splash Maran hen. I've got a blue hen out of the mix but not one with a naked neck.
they're soooo cute!These were just hatched a week and a few days ago they are silver duckwing old english game bantams mixed with black australorp. They are super tiny and cute. The rooster is huge compared to my oegb hen. I'm curious to see how big they will be. Or if anyone had the same thing let me know.
