Whats wrong with my chicken

Just wanted to know What's this new bump on my chicken, she also has been breathing but she always sounds sick when breathing like when a person hasn't cleared their throat, she acts normal though and she's been like that ever since I got her (the one with the bump) I've tried a lot of things but I'm not an expert the other chicken though has ALWAYS been fine never has gotten sick and is exceptionally healthy. Also these are rhode island reds right? that's what I've always thought and by their aggressive behavior to new chickens.

Isn't that contagious I'm surprised my other chickens haven't been affected all these months I think they may have been vaccinated if it really is fowl pox

I’m actually dealing with a bout of foul pox, and it is very contagious. But it is supposed to clear up after 2-4 weeks and the recovered chickens will have lifelong immunity. Unless they have a compromised immune system. It is amazing that your flock has been vaccinated already! The one hen who has it probably wasn’t vaccinated, and she should be fine in a few weeks. Most of the long term things I’m talking about are not yet from personal experience, but I am pretty sure that your hen has the pox since she looks just like a few of my birds right now.

They are production hybrids with partly RIR genetics.
