What's wrong with my goose? Please help

Yes - I have left for college and as such have left my mother in charge of my goose. She says she got some naicin pills from Walmart that are 500mg. I don't think that's quite the same, but is it something that is safe?

I believe she was planning on giving them crushed up. She hasn't given me any updates in a while - I have assumed that no news is good news, but I am going to call and ask today if everything is all right again.

It's been a while - but as a follow up my goose is strong and very healthy now. Must've just eaten something bad, would be my guess. Thanks so much for all of the help during that stressful time
