Saw him 'try' to mate yesterday, if one could call it that. He jumped on a females back (more of a dainty side-saddle than a proper mount), but then realized females have cooties or something and ran away in shame.

Does anyone sell these eggs? I've sent pm's to several people and have not gotten any replies back. ????????

Those of us that do have these birds, are not currently selling as they are not laying/mating yet. Not to mention, the obvious need for those breeding these to test their own eggs before selling any and build up their flocks first. For most people who tried, the hatch rates were extremely low, if any were able to hatch at all. There should hopefully be increased vigor with the outcrossings to other pure Ameraucanas, but it's a slow uphill battle.

While we are not looking necessarily at 'years' anymore, we are still looking at 'months' before you can expect to see these listed for sale.
