Hey everyone I am new to this site. I am looking for a japanese silky banum. Hen or rooster doesnt matter. I am looking for a chick if possible.. I had a beautiful one that was blondish colored a little less than a year ago named jacob but my ex made me get rid of him. Any pretty small breed chicken will do, I am looking for a pet not dinner.. Will be indoors and out.

Smitty's Farm, you are close to me I do believe -

You need to check out the different areas under index and post your request in Items Wanted.

I love Irish Wolfhounds and Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. I also grew up with a Newfie that was a wonderful dog!

I agree with OSUman and others too... Australian Shepherds are the best!

Only trouble is being smart enough to keep up with them! (also, I'm a Buckeye!! class of 77, yeah, I'm old!!!!!!)

I have to add, that a good old rescue mutt is fine by me, though I keep an eye out for a good working dog. I like Border Collies, but they're often too frantic (compared to aussies) and I love Corgis, Greyhounds (big cats!) and like plenty of others.

Boerboels are the best! This is Daphne at 1 year old.

this is Daphne as a puppy!

She is such a great dog, awesome with kids and so gentle the chickens use her as a roost. When she needs to, she is brilliant at protecting her family and big enough to let people know she means business!

Another vote for German Shepherds! (Although if they weren't so "mental" - well, ours was... Greyhounds sure are a beautiful breed too)

I love my baby girl Sara.. here she is when she was just a puppers and she was so in love with that blanket!
