tdgill I did see the dog whisperer episode with Nasir, I kept telling my husband that Daphne wants a boyfriend just like that!

Before i had Daffy we had spaniels and bassets, I was convinced you couldn't get a better dog than my spaniel, but when he passed away at age 16 we found daffy in a dog pound. She was rescued from a dog fighting ring in Southern Ireland, she was all marked up when we got her and everyone thought we were nuts to take on such a big dog, but she is the sweetest thing and we are so glad she gave us a chance to show her how nice humans can be.

For anyone thinking of getting a Boerboel, Please do not do as we did, especially if you have young children or are not experienced with dominant type breeds. Please go to a reputable breeder and see both the mum and dad's temperament. They are incredibly large, powerful dogs with a very strong protective instinct that can go horribly wrong.

yes, I think Caesar IS brilliant. and so simplistic (if that is the right word). I like his human training too. lol. I just quoted him this week to mom, she was stressing over this or that. I told her to just let it go, that she would be better off living "in the NOW"
