What's your favorite milk cow breed?

Is it true the Guernsey milk is a rich yellow color because they don't digest beta carotene as much? And does Jersey milk have higher b vitamins?

I have no idea. However, I can tell that Jersey milk, and probably Guernsey milk also, is higher in not only butterfat but in solids non fat too. In other words, there is a lot of nutrition packed into it.

Some of my fondest memories are the summers,snow days and weekends spent at grandmas. Thats where I caught the chicken bug. And learned that the simple things in life are all you really need.

We have been toying with getting a family cow and decided on the mini-jersey. I love jersey milk. But we have goats currently. We've been debating if we want to get the cow or not. I know goat milk is better and we're thinking why add any extra expense, time, etc.
