Hi, Did you buy these direct from Ron Pressley or Buddy Henry ? Take a look at the Combs on both males , especially the larger one.

No I got them from James Meeks at Skyline Poultry. He got them from Ron Presley.

Whats wrong with their combs? I'm new to Marans, so im learning.

Mike, there is a thread for all DQs and faults of Marans, maybee someone will post a link.

I would also put these on some anti biotics soon as possible, notice the eye one the larger male looks elongated.

I'd like to see a better close up shot of the combs on the males from the top and closer on the side if possible.

When looking at the combs of the Wheaten males in question are you referring to the blade of the comb?

I can't see clearly enough on my monitor.....is it sprigs?

Kim, yes I am talking about the blade part of the back of the comb. I also see Gold lacing on the larger male also

Kim, when the chickens are not doing good this look will appear, These two young males just do not look healthy.
