Wheaten Crele Orpington Project, Reboot

I think red crele is supposed to be barred red columbian, but those chickens have a more mixed color since it’s still a project. My guess is that they have partridge mixed in, since I don’t think duckwing is in orps.

Someone needs to add Duckwing to Orpingtons. I can, I have a welsummer.

Columbian makes more sense, & what I have been sticking too since the beginning of the project.

Db presents differently in my Orpingtons, so I'm working on avoiding the Db gene. One snuck through.

He's toasted marshmallow colored, my other chick is a nice orange. The lighting isn't great.

I saw a thread about crele cochins. I believe they crossed red with cuckoo. I can’t remember if they ended up breeding true or not.
