I have the hardest time not opening the bator...

My Dh is always saying leave the bator alone!!

One Wyandotte out of the shell. That is 3 Marans and 1 Wyandotte. The two front Marans zipped but did not come out and I fear they are dead. I have some more pips as well. I think there are only two that have not piped.

. Can you tell me where you got the clear egg holders. I like that low profile and would like to try that in mine.

The clear egg holder is from the grocery store.

I think it held free range chicken eggs or organic eggs. It opened up and looked like you see it. No modification needed.

I woke up this morning and one more Marans has hatched. There are now 4 Marans and one Wyandotte. The two front are zipped but I just know that they are dead.

I do see movement in a pip for one of the Marans. I'm thinking of taking out the chicks real quick. Friday night was day 21 and tonight is day 23.

Now there are 5 Marans and 1 Wyandotte.... Front two now hatched eggs are dead for sure. One Wyandotte had a pip but no zip and I think it is done. Two Marans did not pip. So there you have it so far....

I guess that is the end. If the last two did not pip, then they never will.

The French chicks all have hairy legs...

The Wyandotte is clean shaven.

Here are a few photos of the chicks and my brother in law put a web cam on them and I will post the link when he gets home and tells me what it is.
