When can I integrate my quail?

I have 2 pharaoh males and 1 female quail, 2 golden Manchurian males and 1 female quail that are going to be six weeks old. I need to integrate them with my other adult quail. when should I do that?

When will they be six weeks? How many other adult quail do you have?

I would recommend putting a divider in your enclosure, allowing the new quails and the rest of the flock to still see each other without anyone getting hurt.

You could also try choosing a nice quail from the flock and putting it with the new ones to help get them used to each other and make friends.

If your older birds are not used to those colours then they may not accept them, so just be aware of that. I've had that problem before. Will your ratios of males to females be correct and how big is your enclosure? Unless you have a large aviary you cannot keep multiple males in the same space. You may need to just integrate your females with your older birds and set up a bachelor pad for the boys.
