My girls are 26 weeks and still no eggs.. With less hours of daylight now does that mean I will have to wait until spring? Just seems crazy.

Waiting on the first egg is always torture! It will come though. Just imagine, some people wait for 40+ weeks!
I think that might be me. My BW is 36 weeks and nothing so far. I haven't given up hope![]()

My girl was 33 weeks when she started laying. I am sorry that you are still waiting. It will happen. They lay a pretty light brown almost pinkish egg. I have a golden cuckoo marans hen and her egg is light brown and there is a definite difference. Daylight hours are shorter too now.That's nothing....got one who's past 40 weeks and nada.![]()
