When should i add in my new chicks?

Hopefully with plenty of run room you don't have problems. If you do you will need to separate them. I would have a plan, but wait and see how it goes, it could be okay.

I do bring them in, still too cold out there for leaving them. All I have is 3 Bantams and 2 bantam silkies (both rosters). They're 10 weeks old and the 'new' ones are 6 weeks. They seem fine though the fence these past few days. I'm actually worried about the Golden Sex Links bulling the Bantams cause they're already bigger than them. ( I call the sex links my Golden Girls)

The coop will have a large run that's going to be added to it, it's going to be all the way back to the end of our property it will end up being 20ft x 30ft roughly.

I want chickens more for eggs therefore I have the sex links.

Not that I don't have the room to have two separate flocks but I'd perfer not to,but I'm also not going to but the Bantams in that type of situation. Any suggestions?

How many sexlinks do you have and how old are they?
A huge run is not always rarely going to take care of the problems a too small coop creates.

I have 6 sex links, and I'm in the north west corner of New Mexico, were currently getting 80 in the day and about 50 in the nights. It'll be warming up even more soon

Also wanted to give more information on the coop that i do have. The run that is attacted to it is 8 ft long X 6 ft High X 7 Ft Long. It had 2 roost bars and 4 Layer boxes.

No problem! It took me a little to figure it out go to the 'Forums" button and then you'll click the sub link, so like Forums > managing your flock > then New Thread
