Oops, I meant squawk!
Thanks all you spelling geniuses!

Cull means one thing, cuddle means something else. I'm more than happy to clarify any typos or spelling errors!

i like SWAK better..

Day 16 and one of the eggs I saw move for a few seconds yest and today has a little crack. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

So i just got home Day 17 and have 12 of the 18 eggs hatched. Great hatch considering usps delayed me 2days.

They hatched some time during i was at work. when should i transfer them to the brooder? i see that some of them are moving around quite easily while a few are lying down as if sleeping.

Move them when they are dry or at 24 hours old, whichever comes first.

Coturnix are very easy to hatch, I had a shipment spend a full week in the mail once and still had 18 of 25 hatch.

Just saw another egg with a crack and moving. I will wait till the morning tomorrow to remove the 12 that hatched today. By then the twelve should be dry and would still be less then 24hrs that they completely hatched.
