Okay, I’ve helped a goat give birth and dealt with baby cows by myself but my parent has never done it.

Good luck! I hope everything goes okay! I can understand the feeling of desperation and aloneness because you are basically tending this dog on your own, but stick in there! I would agree to be very careful with keeping the dog/puppies because your neighbors sound like they would definitely press charges if they found out. It's sad, but the age-old question "does a wrong act for the right reason make it right?" Still holds true (Example: Robin Hood- yes he helped the poor but he was still stealing)
But there are plenty of people on here willing to help, and we'll all be crossing our fingers for you!
