when will they lay?

when do indian runners start to lay? and how long should they be fed layers pellets BEFORE they lay? also, if i have mixed sex ducks, should i feed...

layers pellets

or

maintenance pellets/ornamental poultry pellets

or

breeder pellets

with oyster shell in a seperate dish for the hens?

what ya think?
