Where can I learn how to knit?

There are tons of "learn to knit" books out there that are great resources.

However, if you actually need to see it done...google my friend. There are videos all over youtube. Knittinghelp.com is amazing. And find a great knitting forum to help you for any questions you might have. I personally belong to (and love) Knitty and the forums over there.

Go buy some Caron simply soft in a decent color (not black! way too hard on your eyes for starting out), snag some needles (size 8 is usually a good size to start with), and do not be afraid to undo whatever you knit. Trial and error are the best teachers.

I learned how to knit (and crochet) thanks to YouTube. I learned knitting first with Sheep and Stitch and then with Very Pink Knits. Very Pink Knits is my favourite because she does a lot of technique specific videos. Don’t need to watch a 30 minute video just to learn one stitch. Sheep and Stitch goes very slowly and repetitively so you can get the hang of things when you’re beginning.
