Adorable, congratulations! Looks like she doing a good job! I got home from running errands all morning and my broody hen had her two babies out foraging with her. I guess she had them jump the 4 feet out the side of the coop. At least we know they're tough!

For the love of sweet baby Jesus!!! A day old and they are giving me panic attacks!!!! Chicken wire keeps chickens in, not predators out... Well, that evil-clothing ripping-skin impaling crap doesn't keep chickens in either!!! Stuck in a hole! Covered the lower half with regular house screen. Jumping , Jesus, Mary and Joseph....my nerves are shot!

Yes, baby is fine. It happened right as I was snapping pics, so I was right there to rescue the little bugger.

The house screen will keep the heads out . In about one week or so, the heads will grow larger than the chicken wire openings.
