If using it for chickens, I'd cut those flappy dingy points off. But, I'm impressed with the concept of using tires in that fashion. HOW DO YOU TURN THEM INSIDE OUT?
Further question... When using a recip saw to cut the side wall off a tire, does it cut through any metal? And, how rough is the remaining edge of the tire? I'm thinking that the chickens, being the knuckleheads that they are, would spend way too much time picking little bits of rubber off the cut edges. Brainstorming about a way to encase the cut edge to make it less of a chick magnet. Cut garden hose would be too small in diameter, I think. Any other ideas??
