I work at Lowe's in Lakejackson TX. I'm a Merchandiser. This means I build displays and set the bays with merchandise for vendors. We also keep them looking pretty so people will be enticed to buy more!

As it's a hardware store warehouse there a benefits to me as a chicken keeper. Like first dibs on cull lumber or free scrap lumber if we have any.

First job I've had that I love.

That’s awesome!! It sounds like art almost 😍

I work from home as a freelance translator and I also keep dogs at home for long stays, not exactly a dog daycare because I live in a hard-to-reach place: usually owners bring their dog here for holidays or when they have to travel and can't take the dog with them. I use neither cages nor kennels: my guests live with me and my dog while they're here. I'm a good hiker, so we walk a lot, swim a lot, it's an holiday for them! I love taking care of dogs, but I only do regular customers now that I can choose.
You can't really make a living with this the way I do: to earn enough money you should host many guests at the same time, but I don't like that. This is why I also work as a translator and I love that job too, this way I spend part of the time at the pc but I can also walk in my mountains with dogs and this is my recipe for happiness :)
