Yeah but since then they’ve gotten more red on their earlobes. Is that normal? Those pictures were from January I think. So in 8 months their earlobes have a lot more red on them.

Yes, It is normal. The White ear lobes fade with age. The fading happens in all breeds with white ear lobes. If you have two that have solid white ear lobes at 6 months old and two years old one have lost 1/4 of the white and the other has lost 3/4 of the white, the one with only 1/4 loss is better to breed. It can be hard to select the best breeders at 6 months old.

Here is an updated photo of #2. Sorry for the quality but as you can see his tail grew back. So glad that I sold #3 he was so mean to my other roosters and was the one that was pulling the tail feathers out of them. Once I sold him all of my roosters tails started growing back.
