Which mom was mine?

The rooster was a black australorp, the hen could either be a splash ameraucana or an easter egger. Both lay identical eggs so I'm not sure which breed he could be. I'm 99.9% sure he is in fact a rooster. Thoughts?

The EE is the mother. A pure ameraucana will have a homozygous pea comb

He's adorable!
He is indeed a rooster, he looks like my Zebra when she was baby! But she was a girl!

In addition to what has already been stated about the comb.. If the dame were a splash Ameraucana.. the chick would be blue.. black cross splash is always blue.

How did your hens lay fertile eggs without a roo?
