some of my ancona ducks exhales are whistley/nasaly sounding. Should i be worried? They are about 8/9 weeks old, they are pretty much fully feathered and have access to a pond all day. so i dont think it could be for lack of water.
Also, from what i can gather on here you, should be able to see though their nares.. now does that mean in one and out the other?
If so, im not sure that i can..
They seem active and all eating/drinking normally but i know they can hide illness well until its too late.
Any suggestions?

Respiratory infection or CRD one of my chicken did the same in the last winter he also have some coughing breathing sound underneath his chest .

For mild I give some ACV in water (if weather is not hot) 1 teaspoon in gallon ,or
2nd chopped garlic in feed ,or
3rd oregano oil in water , or
4th 1 Crushed Of Black Pepper (helps a lot in cold type symptoms or watery eyes)

If symptoms persist I'll go to the medication .
Tylan or Neodox Forte in water for 5-7 days
(Make new batch of medicine daily)

Do check her eyes & nose for any discharge

thanks for all the suggestions everyone.. Today Ive noticed a few of the ducks have been shaking their heads and making some coughing/choking noises. A few of the chickens are shaking their heads as well. I'm really beginning to suspect gape worm.. Ive been trying to read up about it, I cant find any info about it being prevalent in my area or not..., I'd like to do the q-tip swab and check myself first but i am the only one home at the moment , and they really hate being touched. Its going to be a horrible struggle. Think i could manage it alone or Maybe I should ask a neighbor for help?
I called around and the closest vet that will see a duck is 2 hrs away .. +vet fees. so checking for myself first might be a bit more economical.

Edit: Well Ive ordered some safeguard 10% liquid off amazon just in case. can always use it on the cat too -_-

Go with doing it yourself! Cheaper and if the ducks trust you(more then the vet) you will most likely get a better result with a calmer duck. Keep us posted!
