White Leghorn, the forgotten breed

I just bought my first leghorn chicks, I have not had this breed before. They are growing like weeds and are only 2 weeks old. I am really excited to have these little guys and I am wondering how old they are when they begin to lay? And what do you like best about this breed? I read so many great things about them. Thanks for your input!

From my experience they start laying at around 5 to 6 months. If you'll hold them and play with them they'll bond with you and they are so sweet. My rooster loves for me to hold him and he'll lady his head on my chest like he's hugging me. He's adorable. While they're small you can play with them. They like tunneling through paper towel roll. Playing with cat ball with a bell inside. I had a laser pointer and they loved it. I got mine to go through the tunnel to get to the peanut butter on the end of my finger at the other end of the makeshift tunnel. Have fun with your new chickys and play with them.
