White quail

Yes mine lay speckled eggs.

But I do know of a man that does have a couple pairs of pure white Bob's. Those lay a pure white egg. I have not been able to talk him out of any I have tried.
I've been considering getting rid of mine. They were shipped by mistake. Ordered Harlequin quail eggs and got the A&M's instead, Harlequin eggs are speckled, these weren't. Anyway, have 3 females, 1 male.
The male has a black spot on the back of it's neck. The females are pure white.

Maybe? I do have a scale, getting them to be still will be the trick. They really are no larger (by sight and feel) then my 4 week old Jumbo Coturnix and the eggs are really small!
I think they are typically supposed to be about the same size as jumbos, but if they aren’t a specific bloodline they could have been bread smaller by whom ever you got them from?

Maybe? They were gifted to me so I know nothing about them but what I was told. Some people in the area knew we raised quail and they could not keep them and wanted them to go to a good home, that is how I ended up with them. I am not 100% certain of age? I was told 12 weeks which is probably pretty close, the roo is crowing and the 2 hens are laying.

I’m guessing they were cross bred with smaller cots and are just regular cot sized then? Texas colour with standard weights?
