After all the whacked out weather the last two months, I have FINALLY got the tackle boxes and poles out.
Last night I was up until 1am gathering about 50 worms. Today I'm heading to the river to begin my fishing season!
Who else is excited for fishing? What's your favorite things to catch?

Well up here in Wisconsin, were we like to go fishing, the weather has been so crazy with snow. Sturgeon Bay is totally frozen. I love going there to fish for walleye and musky. One of the largest walleyes I have caught was 28 1/2 inches. The largest musky my dad caught was 56 inches. My favorite place to fish is Petersburg, Alaska.
We go fishing there for halibut and salmon. Halibut are my favorite fish to catch. They put up one good fight. My brother caught one that weighed 142 pounds! Mine was 80 pounds. When my dad gaffed it, it almost pulled him into the water before my mom grabbed him.
My brothers we shot because it was so big which we should of done with mine I guess. Lol
Also the sights are so cool! We fish in between the mountains and glaciers. The whales swim very close to you, last year one swam 2 feet beneath the boat. It was huge! They are hump backs and look like semi trucks swimming around. Lol
There are also sea lions and seals swimming around.
We are going back in July. So I am really excited!

Yes I enjoy poultry, animals, hiking bowhunting, fishing and these.

I wish I could do cross country. It’s during soccer season though. I do long distance in track though
