Prize catfish in Lake L.B.J.....Crappie were nuts last week over minnows!! I’m ready to go back NOW!!

The crappie and white bass here are insane over minnows!! I mean you can catch 5 in a half hour on a good day, maybe more depending how many poles you're using. Gosh I can't wait for the weather to warm up so the fishing goes back to being good

Turns out there’s more than he thought…agian…

I get both of them + the Calcutta and a baitcastinging rod and a spinning rod and my choice of tackle

If I have worms or minnows, my spoons and jigs are all I need

these are all I use spinners, rapalas and flies oh and jigs while Ice fishing.

Those look nice, I have one of those long rapala ones my dad gave me when I was little. It's bright blue. I got a freshwater drum with it once, I prefer to use it where there isn't a lot of garbage/rocks to get snagged on

Northeast corner of Nebraska, the particular spot where I got the crappie and white bass are at the Yankton dam in South Dakota, I fish on the Nebraska side, I think more fish gather in that particular area. I'm heading to Royal NE today, my Dad asked if I'd go with him to fish there.
