only issue with our trout streams is there all stocked (the only native trout here is lake trout) so th1ere are no hidden ones.

That's to bad all the fish in our rivers and streams are wild not stocked

Just found the state website on species in the lake and a nearby pond.
Pharaoh lake has:
Lake trout
Brown trout
Brook trout
Sunfish
Bullhead
And a nearby pond(20-30 minutes from campsite) has
Brook trout and sunfish.
So if we are unsuccessful catching trout in pharaoh the other pond only has two species which would make catching a trout more likely.

I’m a bit disappointed that there aren’t bass though, since that’s what I’ve fished for my entire life. I mostly have bass lures and baitfish are prohibited in the region.

Lol It's the oposite for me. Just pick up a couple panther Martin spinners

They are my favorite!! I used to be a non fish eater, but I have since had the awesomeness of bass. It's so clean tasting.
