Landed a pretty good pike the other day 33 inches. roughly 7 and a half pounds

Nice. I might go this or the next weekend fishing 13 miles in the backcountry

Did not do much fishing (caught 1 brook trout) but found an old daiwa reel at a yard sale.

Yeah it did, Inhaled a whole daredevil like it was nothing, the treble hook ended up in the gills. So the pike ended up in the deep fryer.

Good to be back on the grid after 3 days at the gorgeous pharaoh lake. Didn’t catch any trout. Seems like the green sunfish have taken over
