My
TSC is supposed to be getting them in sometime this week...they couldn't give me an exact date, but they did say they are getting large fowl, bantams, and ducks.
They had 8 bins set up with heat lamps and bedding. I have college classes in the morning in the same town, but my morning classes end at 11am and my afternoon classes don't start until 3pm. Hmm....I know where I will be between classes
I will be sure to take my power converter for my car, my plastic bin car brooder, that fits perfectly in the back of my car, a feeder and waterer for while I am in classes.
They will be riding and resting in style. LOL!
and hoping that they have the babies in tomorrow! I was originally told no by the DH...that I should just wait until I can order the exact breeds I am after...but I decided to get a little wise and told him
"but if
Tractor Supply has the breeds that I am after, then I won't have to place an order through the hatchery, and I can get them now and get them ready to lay eggs by the summer" So, DH caved and told me that it sounded like a much better plan!
Now, hopefully I don't get in there and
over all of the babies! Wonder what the DH would do if I came home with more than I originally planned to order?
I love chicken math!
