Who else is getting chicks tomorrow at TSC??

Well ours lets you pick the ones you want.
They give you a lilttle box to carry them home in.
Ours made us buy a min of 6 last year.
I guess it depends on the store on how many varieties.
Mine didn't know what they were getting.

Went to TSC today to ask when the chicks were coming: earlier this month I was told 02/28/2011 but alas, they won't come until Wednesday...right about the time my current batch will be done in the incubator so I will probably be "chicked out" by then...probably for the best...

I am going to have the hardest time not rushing over to bay city feed first thing tomorrow. I've got at least one more day of building before my coop is ready! The lady at the counter said they'd have all the breeds I inquired after, but I'm not entirely sure she knew what she was talking about. I hope she was!! I want a couple of ameracuanas and a couple of welsummers SO BAD. I'm sure they'll have the barred plymouth rocks, but I'm not 100% about the others. Or worse yet! They do have them, but they sell out of the ones I want before I get the coop done! NOOOOO

Our TSC is getting their chicks in on Tuesday and I have my ACT test at school and they let us leave after the act so I will be able to get six little chicks sooner!

Even though we have an incubator w/ probably 50+ eggs!

The local TSC isn't getting chicks until this Wen. or Thurs. And I just got a broody this Friday sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I better watch out.

I just want 4 RIR's, 4 BR's, 3 SLW's, & 1 blue banty Cochin. But I'm afraid that I'll be a bit overwhelmed by all the chicks and get some other breeds that I don't need in my breeding flock.

I thought they got them later I got mine 2 years ago on April 10 I remember that. BUT I went in to get a new dog collar today and they had all the bins set up and the chick days stuff arranged, so I guess they are expecting them soon!!
I like hatching my own, but I get too many cockerels. I plan to supplement a few pullets from the feed store rather than ordering bunches in the mail, but I may wait till the other feed store gets theirs in (last year it was April 22nd) because they always get Barred Rocks that I like to use to make black sexlinks. My TSC always gets Leghorns and "Assorted Reds"
