Who else is on lock down?

Yesterday, I had a Birchen Maran w/feathered feet hatch! And this morning I awoke to a tiny silver hopefully frizzle cochin!

The Birchen was 2 days early...no sign in the other 22 eggs. I don't want to leave him in there over 24 hours. I may pull the two out fast, and mist at the same time?? Humidity is 78.

I have some creme brabanters, BLCW, EE and 3-4 bantams going to lockdown tomorrow with a couple hundred quail eggs. What was I thinking???? LOL

Three babies have hatched out of the EE bantie eggs, and two are pipping.

So that is nice.

I'm so jelious.. I haven't hatched any eggs on over.....4 days.. next hatch is due the 19

I just had to help baby 1 hatch, I think I did the right thing, upped the humidity. Baby was getting shrink wrapped and was pretty glued to the sac. The chick is huge and appears to be doing okay. I would have been ticked if I lost it.

Well, I have another EE bantie out and one more pipping, so they are doing pretty well. Losing almost all of my Silkies and my Seramas was such a downer that I am glad I am getting a nice hatch on the EE's.
