Yup two and a glass from a third bottle. I drank beer the night before and didn't want it last night so I got DH to get me some cheap champagne and some strawberries. I'm not hungover though, I never have hangovers. I just have a slight headache when I wake up but about 20 minutes later it's gone. LOL

Had a soup night party with campfire, live music, drinks and 53 friends . Set up in our garage and fire pit. 10 degress out. Partys over and close the garage for the night, clean up in the a.m. Its tradition. Roosters were confused, crowed all night. They were partying too! HAPPY, HEALTHY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

we've become lightweights, picked up two bottles of champagne last night and we only managed to drink one. just a few years ago I would be out partyin every night and I could drink for hours and it wouldnt phase me....man how things have changed lol

We ate at Todai for my birthday dinner and had a bottle of wine. Since DH was driving I actually drank the bottle. Even before we left for dinner I had a glass at home, trying to forget my 10 hour workday.
At home after dinner we opened a Blanc de Blanc(bubbly). I must have had 2 more glasses of that. In bed by 11, since my day had begun at 2AM. I almost made it till midnight.
Little headache this morning. To ad insult to injury, I restarted my liver cleanse diet today. After two apirin and two of my girls' eggs for breakfast, I'm feeling better.
The great thing about feeling under the weather this morning is that I will not want to drink for awhile. If I was feeling great I'd be asking if there were any open bottles left this morning!

We went to a very early dinner at our favorite restaurant where we had great food. I had half a glass of champagne and a couple of sips of a martini. Jeez, things really do change when you get older. I DID stay up until the "Ball Dropped", but I missed it because I was on here reading BYC posts.

Happy New Year Dear Chicken Fanatics, you've been a great help and comfort to me these last few months.

I beleive this was the first New Year in many years I havn't "rung in with several drinks" I fell asleep around 10 PM , I wasn't feeling great thought I was coming down with something. this morning I feel great and am going to cook up a seafood feast for my family today!
Complete with lobster, escargot, this shrimp/crab pasrty thingy we like and some ceaser salad....and a few drinks!!!
