Who has purchased eggs from ebay ? and what was your hatch rate ?

I'm happy you have had soe luck with ebay eggs as I feel I've I want to give up

They haven`t hatched yet. This is my second try. No chicks first time around.

Well maybe we all get beginner's bad luck... My first batch of shipped eggs weren't from ebay, they were from My Pet Chicken. They were packed horribly (not the company's fault, but the person with the flock I bought from)
I know for certain that 6/7 are not developing. The 7th might be as I saw a dark spot a few days ago when i candled, but since they are BCM eggs, it will be really hard to tell until later on. I don't have very high hopes for it, so I bought more BCM eggs from ebay (from two different sellers to increase my luck) which will arrive sometime around Thursday this week.
If my original BCM eggs hatches anything it will be a real miracle. So maybe we all have the opposite of beginner's luck?

Fingers crossed for your single egg, and the others you have coming.
I started off with 22 eggs all bought from ebay, they all had saddle shaped air cells which I didn't think was good in the first place

I do not have beginners luck at all

All of mine have saddle shaped air cells. Every single one

It is such a worry. My eggs are from 3 separate sellers, and they were all well packed in polystyrene boxes.

I had 10 silkie eggs all died. 2 still alive from my batch of 6 light sussex eggs and 2 of my wellsummer eggs were too dark to see inside so I have no idea what's going on with them so I technically have 4 but the 2 wellsummers are too dark so won't know till lockdown :/

Aye, all my 7 BCM eggs from My Pet Chicken had saddle air cells as well. They were not packed well, though none arrived broken. I did let them rest for 18-ish hours but I know now that they would've had a better chance had I begun incubating them in my INCUBATOR in egg cartons to help keep the air cells in a good shape in the beginning stages.
My current batch in the incubator (from ebay) didn't have saddle air cells, though they were a little wobbly, and some were damaged to the point I don't think anything will grow in them, but I am incubating them upright with a high humidity for the first week and we'll go from there. They are black and blue true Ameraucanas. Beautiful eggs. I have 18 but would be happy if 6 made it to lock down. I'll candle tonight and maybe I will be able to see something this early (4th day today). I don't expect to see much since they are blue tinted eggs, but I will candle again at the 7 day mark.

The original BCM egg outside under the broody is at day 10, so I expect to see a little more progress if it is still alive and developing. I will probably toss the for sure non-growing ones and try to break my turkey hen's broodiness. I miss the beautiful eggs she was laying before she decided she wanted to hatch eggs, regardless of if there was already a hen on top of them.
