Who has purchased eggs from ebay ? and what was your hatch rate ?

Aww, I'm so sorry. :(
Try locally sourced eggs next time if you can. They are much more likely to hatch with no problems if they don't have to go through the postal system. :(

I've ordered eggs from my local hatchery. For half the price, and I can view the parents. Plus it's only 15 minutes down the road. This way If it goes wrong i can narrow its down to two things and Can cut out the postal service it's either my incubator or the hatchery :)

That sounds perfect! :)
Good luck with the new batch! Definitely have a look at the parents! I wish I could've done that with my Australorp babies as they all developed underbites or scissor beaks and most died.

It would probably be okay even if your remaining eggs do hatch while incubating new eggs.
I am doing my first staggered hatch right now and have found that I can mist the hatching eggs when I turn the incubating eggs.
Someone who has more experience with doing staggered hatches might offer more advice.
I do think it would be fine, though.
Especially with the chance of the remaining eggs not hatching. :(

I bought 6 polish frizzle eggs, and only 3 started developing. I will check to morrow, day 7, if any of those have quit. I really hope I get at least 2 out of them.

On the plus side, on day 12, 5 out of 6 silkies are doing well still, and 4 out of 6 marans are still going. I hope I have some hens!
