Here are the photos of my birbs!
Phoenix: And I forgot to tell you, her wing's drooping because when we adopted her from the rescue shelter, the people there told me that she was attacked by a cat when they found her, and that the cat broke her wing, so she can't fly. (She's still a happy cockatiel, though!)

Pretty birds!
I used to have a cockatiel as well, had him for about 12 years or so before he passed. he used to drive paco crazy, he just wanted to say hello but paco HATED him for some reason. Anytime he flew around paco had a fit. He used to love baths too Id fill the sink and he'd have that sink emptied in about 5 minutes splashing around. Paco on the other hand you try to put him in water or spray him with a decent stream and he screams like you threw lava on him. Go figure
Cookie will not take bathes, she is absolutely terrified of the spray bottle and won't bathe in the sink.
The parakeets photos brought me back 60 years. We had some my grandfather gave us.
He worked at the ESSO (EXXON) research labs in Baton Rouge. They kept parakeets throughout the lab to test for poison gas. (Their delicate lungs were much more sensitive to small amounts of poison.) When they stopped singing, start running.
That's so sad, poor birds
I have budgies amd a quaker
Oh a quaker! The rescue I got cookie from had a Quaker there at the time. Poor thing had plucked himself except for his wings and head and one or two tail feathers he would fly around and the owner of the rescue called him "the flying potato". He looked exactly like a potato flying around, he was so ugly he was cute.

Really? I didn't know you could even DO that!
Yes! It's really fun because my mom said I can bring her outside and stuff so I can't wait to do that. It took awhile for her to be comfortable wearing her harness but it's worth the time. I will take a picture

Does anyone have their birds harness trained? My cookie is!
I don’t know if it counts, but my pigeons wear “pigeon pants” (bird diapers) when I bring them inside.

The one pictured also wears a leash attached to his pants if I take him out in the yard or to friends’ houses. I just got him a proper harness, too, and I hope to take him to the beach soon.

This is Tweaky (parrotlet) peering from his perch on a towel. He likes to poop on the towel, adjoining wall, and occasionally the nearby shower curtain. He knows lots of words and various whistles! He likes apples, but only red apples, not green ones.
Awwww he's adorable my sister used to have a blue parrotlet called pepper.
