This was a rough winter. I'll bet your glad it is over. I'm sure your horses are too. It was bad up by Lake Erie here in Ohio too. I'm still clearing up pine branches from the ice storm/blizzard we were hit with in March. Hello Spring!

Yes it was a rough winter, colder than all get out. I'm also glad it's Spring. We were hit with an Ice storm the other night. Otherwise it's good to have spring here.

I just got another quail! And I KNOW I saw a few more eggs moving...

I can't believe it!!! After all the troubles we had, I'm still getting babies!!!
This second one hatched in under 1/2 hour... I totally missed the busting out!

got some starting to pip now, day 20. also my broody hen just hatched out 2 chicks yesterday.

today is day 20 1 hatched at 1:30 p.m. 3 more with pips and 2 more rocking but no pips yet and these are my ameraucana's I bought off of ebay tomorrow is day 21 for them and day 20 for my 3 buff rock eggs

One of my Welsummer eggs just pipped. Day 20 here. Fingers crossed all 14 eggs hatch.

Day 21 officially begins in 3 hours.
Can't stay at the school that long!
But something is keeping me from leaving. No pip from The Lone Ranger, but hopefully, something soon.

I do believe it is a Campine Bantam. They lay white eggs correct? If no, then The Lone Ranger could be a Dutch Mille Fleur Bantam.
