Who is pipping and waiting right now??

No, no timeframe is set... just when they're good and ready.

I got a pleasant surprise this morning... my incubation calendar said today was the day to stop turning a couple of bobwhite quail eggs, so I went to my LG (the one I had just added water to without opening) to get them and transfer them to the hatcher. They had hatched already!

In the turner! Looks like they had hatched sometime during the night, because they were dry and fluffy. Who says you need to increase the humidity to hatch eggs?!? It was at 55%, and quail "need" 75-80%!

Now, if only my red Dorkings and Speckledhen's Blue Orps do the same thing...

Ok, finally my turn.... today is day 25 for my guinea eggs, stopped the turnings and they're all set up in an egg carton ready for the hatching to begin!!!! The anticipation is going to drive me nuts!!!!

Well, I candled all the serama eggs yesterday and put them into the hatcher. 14 went in but some have no movement so I am not sure what will happned?? This morning I have one pip but it is on the wrong end of the egg? But we will see what happens. Keep your fingers crossed.

11 Salmon Favorelle eggs on day 14...candled 2 days ago...not seeing much except darkness and a small amount of see through shell...first hatch ever so I am unsure if that means the eggs are viable? Had alot of trouble in the first 6 days getting temps up and stable so I may be hatching 11 of nothing...I hope not.
