No, no timeframe is set... just when they're good and ready.
I got a pleasant surprise this morning... my incubation calendar said today was the day to stop turning a couple of bobwhite quail eggs, so I went to my LG (the one I had just added water to without opening) to get them and transfer them to the hatcher. They had hatched already!
In the turner! Looks like they had hatched sometime during the night, because they were dry and fluffy. Who says you need to increase the humidity to hatch eggs?!? It was at 55%, and quail "need" 75-80%!
Now, if only my red Dorkings and Speckledhen's Blue Orps do the same thing...
