who just loves their pots and pans.. RESULTS!!! pg 5

I have a set of Pampered Chef non-stick pots and pans that I love. They are about 10 years old, have been used hard and not always taken care of the best and the non-stick is just now starting to get bad.

I love, love, love mine but I'm not sure if you can buy them any more. They were sold by The West Bend Company. At one point the line was called Royal Queen I think. I've had them for years and will most likely be passing them on to my grandchildren someday. They're built to last that's for sure. I also can't live without a good cast iron skillet and dutch oven.

this is what I have. I have to admit they are 7 years old. But they are sooooo shot.. the only pan out of the wole set that does not have issues with the non stick is my little pan you know that size that you could cook 1 egg in. The one we use the most is "seasoned" like a cast iron skillet.. LOL I am not sure if i would go with t-fal again.. I have also only used plastic on their surfaces..

Well, I admit it, I'm a "pot and pan snob" and I adore my set of de Buyer copper pots and pans from France. No non-stick there, but they work a treat and hold the heat beautifully and no hot spots, etc.

For my non-sticks, I use Anolon or Circulon because I work for a subsidiary of DuPont so I can get them about half price every year in December because they use DuPont products in the coatings.

I also love the Le Creuset enamelled pots.

When I remodel this "brandnew" kitchen, I will have my dream Wolf range and then I'll invest in a nice set of pans.

I just bought each of my daughters a huge set of T-fal on Friday for $50.00. They really are nice pans and last a long time if you are careful not to stack them in the sink or on top of each other. Mine don't go in the dishwasher. But they are so easy to clean they don't need to.

I have priced gourmet cookware and OMG... it's a major investment. Then there are sooo many choices.

I still have my grandmother's set of pans that have been in use now for 70 plus years. They are Lifetime brand stainless, HEAVY bottom pans. No fry pans, though as she only used cast iron.

we have 2 sets of pots and pans
DH came with his Reverware and I had Farberware they are both about 30 years old and still cook beautifully I also have some cast iron which was my mom's so have no idea how old that stuff is...

A couple of years ago my DH surprised me with new Calphalon pots and pans for my birthday. I picked out the Calphalon Contemporary 12-pc. from Bed Bath & Beyond. I think it runs about $400 but you can use their 20% off coupon on this and it had a bonus pan w/ lid, dishtowel and wooden spoon AND $50 gift card to BB&B! I love these and really take care now that I don't have cheapo pans! They are really easy to clean even with dried mac & cheese.

I love my Calphalons, except for the frying pan which wore out too quickly...
