How Rude!!! People need to get some manners. I've never seen a busy liscense, ever, when I have internet shopped.

Southern, my DH and Father are both CPA's. Your payment--or nonpayment of taxes--is PRIVATE, just like every other business, and every other individual. Give me a break! Like every business is supposed to post on the bottom of their website:


"For any random, hateful person wondering, yes-- we pay taxes. The IRS loves us."

As you are not a health care provider, food service, or other specialty service, I cannot imagine you would have to post your license. And, being that you make soap, I seriously cannot even imagine that you need one!!

Don't let them get your feathers all ruffled!

Southern28chick, don't let it get to you. Just know that they want to get a rise out of you and are enjoying doing so. But also be aware that posts can be traced. Delete the comments on your blog and respond no more to this thread.

Per Federal regulations... one does not need a business licence UNLESS you as the company makes a profit of X amount of dollars in a fiscal year PROFIT!!! IRS does not care about us pittly a$$ small businesses!!! Not saying you are Sounthern... just trying to make a statement... I too have a small business and this is what our TAX ACCOUNTANT told us!!! And personally I would love to see the business licence of the real major companies that are NOT posted on their websites.
Just blow him/her off... dont let it get to you! They are not worth it!!! Go pet the chickies they are wonderful therapy!!!

Thanks everyone. Y'all are great. I'm sooooo over it now. I know that I am following the rules/law when it comes to my business so I'm not worried about the "authorities knocking on my door".

Luckily I do have the power to delete such an asinine comment from my blog and I will not even think about this person anymore.

I love y'all and this site...I'm not going anywhere.
