Who Still has their Christmas tree up besides me?

Hello! Mine is still up, but last night I did take the decorations off, except for the lights. Hubby will take the lights off today and then he'll do his traditional burning of the Christmas tree.

I told him, "Honey, I'm really sad to see this one go, it was the most beautiful Christmas tree ever." He said, "Well, just leave the lights on and I'll take care of it when you're at work tomorrow."

So I at least got to enjoy it one more evening....Today it'll be gone when I get home. Sniff sniff....

Truly, this was the nicest Christmas I've had in years.....And the most beautiful live tree.....

My roommate has some sort of 'thing' about holiday decorations.
Apparently there is a certain day that they MUST go up and the day after the holiday they MUST come down.
I'm a little slow to get into the "Jolly Ole Elf" thing and usually don't want to do any decorating till just a few days before. And once it's up, I don't have a problem leaving it there till Easter!

I figure that if it's pretty and we've enjoyed it through December, why wouldn't we enjoy it into January..... or even Feb???

That would be me. My husband said last night, it sure is gonna' be dark in here when you take down all the decorations...so they are not coming down yet

Ours is still up--artificial so don't have to worry about needles falling. DW asked me yesterday if I thought it should come down but we decided it looks nice so will leave it up a while longer. Besides, the cats like it--not to climb on but to sleep under.

Up and lights still on. It will probably come down Saturday.
I meant to turn the timer on the outside lights off yesterday. I'll go do that now, thanks for reminding me.
