Who Still has their Christmas tree up besides me?

Ours is up, and will stay up until little Christmas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphany_(holiday)
When we take our tree down, everyone opens their magic ball (a hollow paper mache ornament, decorated with beautiful pictures, Victorian, I believe) , on it is the last Christmas present, or in the case of kids, a note to look behind the recliner.

I just took ours down on Tuesday.

I wanted to leave it up longer, but DH was getting impatient.

The house looks so lonely without all the sparkley lights, the Christmas cards and the Nativity scene.

Mine is up and so are the lights outside....sigh.

But, I plan on fixing that this weekend.

I leave mine up until 12th Night. And since that's the beginning of Carnival, many people here in New Orleans re-decorate them for Mardi Gras.

The years fly by lately... maybe they will just notice sometime around October, and think that you got an early start.
