Well it's a miracle a predator didn't get him, it's only a matter of time till one does if he isn't provide with a secure house especially at night. Did you talk to the neighbors?We didn't lock him up last night but he was still around this morning. He is only staying in one little area under our apple tree. I think he did walk to our house and is now too tired to leave.

They said "No, we had two but one died bad then the other one vanished."
They were very happy to hear that he had just run away to our house because he was feeling lonely and we had chickens for company.
They jumped into the car and drove straight over and picked him up.
It is almost too bad the they did. He was a cutie! Now I will have to start trying to convince Hubby to dig a shallow pond and get a couple Quakers next spring.
