Who's a Lip Balm Junkie!

Is the the little tan colored tub? That's what I use at night. It has staying power without being waxy.

I'm another Chapstick junie. But only the Cherry flavor. I've tried the fancier stuff, but it always turns me off. And I can't stand anything too smelly. Menthol/mint smells make me sick to my stomach, so those are out. I have to have a tube in every pocket, on my desk, on my nightstand, in the kitchen. I go crazy without it.

I have to post a funny story about my little one. She was a born thumb-sucker. When she was baby, she would spit out the pacifier and stick her thumb in. I couldn't complain -- it was convenient and she always had it with her! But when she rounded that 3-year-old mark and wouldn't quit -- well, people started getting concerned and saying things to her. Finally, she had her first trip to the dentist. He told her if she didn't stop sucking her thumb, her teeth would come out. She walked out of that dentist's office and never sucked her thumb again - quit cold turkey! But she discovered lip balm. For the next two years, her lip balm went everywhere with her, clutched in her little hand. When she would start to get upset, she would whip the cap off and start putting on her lip balm. It took me a while to figure out that it was her thumb-sucking substitute! She is seven now and maintains a fulll collection of lip balm and lip glosses. She always carries a little bag with a lip balm in it and has several stashed under her pillow!

Oh Derby, that's too scary. Way too Freudian. I've never made that connection before, but I was a unbreakable thumb-sucker until, well, never mind how old I was.

Now I'm an unbreakable lip balm junkie. Oh where does it all stop???

Yes, chickens and lip balm. You should be behind bars. Oh, the horrors...

Does anyone get allergy symptoms from Carmex? Everyone in my family does.

I recently started using those lip-plumping gloss sticks instead of lipstick. I really like them!

Hmmm...sounds like you need to keep a much much wider selection within reach. How about two or three different kinds in your rear pocket, and three or four different kinds in your other pockets? Your lips won't know what hit 'em!
