Day 20 here -
I couldnt do it so my babies may be in trouble - my LG hatcher was not stable - it bounced up to 106 degrees while I was trying to stabilize it, so I just took the 7 eggies off the turner in my Genesis and put them next to it, still in the genesis with the same humidity, but not turning - Its really not safe for them to hatch in there though?
Last night the LG bator settled for 5 hours at 100.8....then to 100.6...this morning it was 99.9 but I had to leave for work....I will see what it is at later. I may go get gas and drive home and check on it (20 minutes home, 20 back, and I have a meeting today at work). I dont want to lose these like I did the NN's last week. I do have a little fan circulating air, so it is okay for the temps, but not too high like that 106 was! And humidity is okay. I just cant do that extreme spike.
This thing calms down - I have to transfer them quickly even though it may kill them - because they will just get hurt on the turner anyhow.
This is my bad hatch week. I will call it "How not to Hatch"
