Why are People So Paranoid?

I think all the worse bugs I've ever caught came from people not animals or food. I did get rocky mountain spotted fever but that was totally my fault shouldn't have been getting frisky in the woods. And I got food poisoning from a double whopper but again my fault for eating there really can't call it food poisoning since I was basically eating garbage. But all these years of smooching combs and handling poop hasn't touched me.

I've traveled the world over and always eaten local. My last sick day at work was in 1979. I did get the crud in Saudi, but everyone does and works through it for about a week and then you're good. Food poisoning, fast food joints a couple of times. But as was pointed out, not real food.

My granddaughter has never had a "jar" of baby food. Mostly what she's eaten since doing solid food is either grown here or locally. I make her vanilla bean yogurt from raw milk. Pretty much the only outside food has been bananas, still trying to figure out how to grow them locally. Tyler Florence has a great book on making baby food.

Haah. Hubby was cuttin up some calf liver today for fishin and tellin the dogs nope it might not be safe to feed yall this raw meat... i told him they get bites almost every day when i cook. He looked at me funny and started feedin yummy liver 'nacks to the pups all merrily. Pups were more than pleased to partake. Silly man.

Hi,sfgwife. Is that a wolfhound I spy as your avatar (hard to be sure with the bunny ears)?

My daughter has never had baby food either :) she's eaten what we eat since she was ready for solids! Her first food was an avacado! She loves salmon, broccoli, apples...just about everything. And she will try anything at least once!
